A Letter to Every Caregiver
Dear Caregiver,
We hope this note finds you well.
We’d love to share a little about the heart behind Amethyst Creek Soapery. Our story began with our oldest daughter, Bella, the inspiration behind our name and journey. At age five, Bella was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Those years were some of the hardest we’ve known—impacting her, and shaping us deeply as parents.
During that time, we came to know incredible nurses, doctors, and caregivers who not only helped Bella heal but held us up, too. They showed us what true care looks like.
Bella eventually beat cancer, became a big sister to her twin sisters, and rediscovered her love for creating—especially in the form of melt-and-pour soap kits. What started as a childhood birthday gift turned into something more. By thirteen, she was crafting cold process soaps from scratch, and I found myself equally captivated by the process. We became a soap-making family—learning, experimenting, and falling in love with the gentle art of creating something nourishing by hand.
As we shared our soaps with friends and neighbors, their feedback was unanimous: they felt cared for. And that’s when we realized what we wanted to create wasn’t just soap—it was comfort for caregivers like you.
Caregiving takes many forms: parents, nurses, teachers, pet lovers, and more. You give so much of yourself to others. We believe caring for yourself should feel just as special. That’s why we craft every bar as an invitation to pause, breathe, and refill your own cup.
So the next time you wash your hands or take a shower, we hope it feels like more than a routine. We hope it’s a reminder: you matter, too.
Thank you for supporting our small, family-run business. It means the world to us.
With heartfelt appreciation,
Adrienne, Ben, Bella, Farah, and Leona
